Our School

Boroondara Park is a school of approximately 600 children situated in North Balwyn. The school was formed in 1989 through the amalgamation of two well-established schools serving the North Balwyn and Bulleen areas. The school is expected to grow further as it attracts more students from the local area.

The strong policies developed by the school, including the school vision, curriculum statements and culture have produced a unique learning environment for its students, parents and teachers. Developing an enthusiasm for ongoing learning is an underlying goal of the school.

A safe, secure and caring environment is provided for all activities undertaken at the school.

The school recognises that education is a partnership between home and school and is supported by strong communication links and parent involvement in decision making and support of curriculum activities.

The school also believes that its strong academic, arts/music and physical education/sporting programs provide the best opportunity for students to improve learning outcomes, boost self esteem, pursue excellence and achieve success.

Through its programs, culture and environment Boroondara Park Primary School aims to provide the motivation, skills and knowledge needed to extend learning outcomes.
