Camp

Children in grades 3-6 participate an annual camping program.  The program is an extension of activities undertaken in the school situation and focuses on the development of personal identity, social skills, outdoor adventure and aquatic education. As an introduction to our camping program the grade 2 children have a Sleepover at school later in the year. This provides a 'night away from home experience' for students as a lead in to the formal camping program.

The camping program provides children with wonderful opportunities for social development and discovery. Currently, our program is as follows:

• Grade 2 - Sleepover at school

• Grade 3 - 3 days/2 nights (Phillip Island)

• Grade 4 - 3 days/2 nights (Elmore)

• Grade 5 - 5 days/4 nights (Coonawarra)

• Grade 6 - 5 days/4 nights (Warrnambool)
