Parents and Friends' Association

The Parents & Friends' Association has an integral role within the school community providing a forum where all parents can meet to discuss, develop views and provide support on a wide range of school community issues. In doing so, it operates closely with the Principal, School Council and its Committees.

Activities
The Parents & Friends' regularly supports classroom activities by providing equipment for the school programs, as well as having an active role in liasing between the school and school community. Activities include -

• Mothers’ Day stall

• Fathers’ Day stall

• Providing suppers at school functions

• Morning/afternoon teas for teachers

• Carols Night

• Uniform Shop

• Operating stalls at the Biannual School Fair

• Classroom Representatives

The Parents & Friends' Association has made major financial contributions toward outfitting the Performing Arts Department, play equipment, books and air conditioners in classrooms.

Meetings 
Evening meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month, while afternoon gatherings occur on a regular basis. A representative is nominated from the Parents & Friends' Association as a co-opted member of School Council. The Parents & Friends' Association Classroom Representatives play an important liaison role in keeping parents informed of school activities, ensuring new families are welcomed and coordinating the various activities which they are involved in each year. Each class within the school is represented by several parents.
