Boroondara Park PS has a stratgic approach to policy development and works to provide information to our community about the school's practices and procedures. 

The Child Safe Standards have been updated and the school has taken to revisit the Child Safety Code of Conduct. All Boroondara Park PS staff, volunteers, contractors, service providers, school council members and any other adult involved in child-connected work must follow the Child Safety Code of Conduct.

The Child Safety Code of Conduct applies to all physical and online environments used by students. It also applies during or outside of school hours and in other locations provided by the school for student use (for example, a school camp).

We have created a child friendly version of our Child Safety Code of Conduct and will be using this to support our students to understand behaviour that is acceptable and unacceptable towards them from the adults they are with at school.
